Back to work!

Finally some better news he can go back to work which is great!

He needs to he is ready ...

What concerns me is that the lack of knowledge in the work place for all of us

Means that when severe depression is the reason a person is off sick it actually isn’t so clear!

Unless we are in the thick of it no one no business will understand what this means as it’s more complex in my husbands case his BPD means he didn’t deal with things like the majority of us would and the way something is said can cause a whole lot of anxiety!

Now I know that this may seem difficult but if someone is good at their job has a 100 percent track record but needs a little help and support I strongly believe we should not be turning our backs but helping and encouraging people especially someone who is high

functioning as for some they will never hold a job down but for these individuals like

My husband don’t penilise them because they have an illness because you wouldn’t do it for a cancer patient would you?

We have had a year of hell and I can see a little glimmer of hope let’s hope that it isn’t destroyed by lack of understanding!!
